With over 40 years of professional experience in Environmental Health and Safety, Ward Rowlands founded RTC Security on the principles of precision and radical transparency. Ward began his career as a trained machinist who completed a tool and die apprenticeship at Grayco Metal Products—a background that instilled a lifelong obsession with detail and operational integrity.

Since 1986, Ward has managed complex safety and hazardous materials programs for global industry leaders like United States Pollution Control (a division of Union Pacific Railroad), Westinghouse, ENSCO, Clean Harbors and BASF.

Notably, he served as the Head of Sales for Clean Harbors Puerto Rico, where he was recruited to launch and establish their regional operations from the ground up, which is still operating to this day in Puerto Rico.

Leveraging a foundational background in Telecommunications and Psychology from Kutztown University, Ward uniquely bridges the gap between complex digital infrastructure and the human element of threat mitigation.

Today, he applies that high-stakes operational and business expertise to the security sector.
